Revelation 4-5

God Is an Absolute Sovereign

In this New Year's meditation, Pastor Albert N. Martin expounds on the foundational truths believers need as 'ballast' for the coming year. Drawing primarily from Psalms 93-99, Revelation 4-5, Daniel 4, Isaiah 46, and Matthew 10, he asserts that God is an absolute sovereign, governing all things in the universe. He then demonstrates that the crucified, risen, and exalted Lord Jesus Christ shares this throne as the administrator of all things, leading to a glorious consummation. This settled faith, Martin argues, produces stability, submission in suffering, confidence in danger, and boldness in prayer for God's people.
